As a student. we all idealize our teachers for being so efficient in their subjects. But still there are some problems that a teacher could face in his teaching career. These are not related to his subject. These are related to student’s understanding level. What if the student and teacher both are confused in the class. What if the teacher thinks either the students are understanding him or not. Unfortunately, in Pakistan there are so many gaps like that in our teaching system.
As being teacher my self, i think there should be a platform that teaches teacher, the art of teaching. A platform that teaches teachers how to develop a sense of understanding between the student and teacher, how to teach with full of their potential so that 100% of their students understand what he is teaching, how to make difference between kindness and lenience toward student, how to develop the sense of studying concept rather than cramming the words written in the text.
For the discussion of my idea, i visited my friend and he told me that no matter what he did, students were just cramming the words. So there was a void in his teaching method, that the students were not taking his subject seriously.
On discussing the topic with another friend, I realized that he was facing the problem with 2 things, kindness and lenience. some of the time he became too lenient that students took advantage of him and that is the problem with so many teachers. There should be a discussion between teachers on a problem so that they can know the difference between kindness and lenience.
There are so many problems that are faced by the young teachers. So let’s teach teaching….!
